Is There a Relative Responsibility in Adolescence?

The film follows the life of simba, a young cat who finds his way into an adolescent world. He joins a gang of 'preprimordial' males that are not very attractive to females. The idea here is that he really doesn't have any responsibilities, right? None. And so it's kind of strange, cause adolescence really isn't no picnic.
