The Importance of Balkanization

East of the podcast has an official policy we do not use the word balkanize because balkans are a beautiful place and we're not going to associate them with regime change wars so i had to say that out loud. The same people who were fretting about muslims 20 years ago are now fretting about trans in the same way too like that kind of panic. There's a researcher called ben haze who is plowing a rather lonely furrow in terms of looking into looking into this stuff but yeah this informs the the policies of  the London borough of Camden which uses cve techniques on its own population maybe not using the same kind of language but um it still helps.
