Is There a Language of Thought?

i haven't been persuaded by any of the arguments on the other side. The fragean concern that people can't communicate if they visualize things differently, to me, is actually an argument that can be turned on its head. We do find people with different sensory backgrounds coming to points of confusion as a function of those biographical differences. But beyond that, i think there are positive reasons for being an empiricist.
