Is There a Better Place to Live?

After getting out of the Navy in 2011 I decided to move back home with my parents. The farmhouse they own burned down and so they moved into town and were renting. They found a nice house for a reasonable amount inside of lease but it was soon foreclosed on. Me and the folks found yet another house and lived there until the owner decided he wanted to retire from being a landlord and so sold it off meaning no renewed lease. We ended up stuck in a little house in a bad neighborhood which had no front porch light.
