Is This Feminist or Anti-Feminist?

The film was used to tell the tale of the unhappy motherless haggard who murders are sometimes steals children. Many people feel that this is a stereotypically misogynistic cautionary tale. Some have recently said they felt it was more for thinking according to an article. They say author Caroline Kipney's views it as quote, a hilarious feminist commentary on women and family.
