Bill Cosby has been accused by 60 women of assault and rape. There was public outcry, but the prosecutors had their hands tied by the statute of limitations for many of his assaults. Most of the attacks were decades old, and then Andrea Constand came forward. She woke around 4 a.m. to find her clothes laying all over the room. That was felony aggravated indecent assault; it was coming to light in late 2014. If the prosecutors were going to charge Cosby, they needed to do so by 2016, or they'd never get another chance.
