"It was very, very hard. You know, people really don't realize how hard it is because it was 2010," he says. "We actually committed for good seven, eight years to raise the fund." After a year or two of investing in companies, Terry's firm became profitable and debt-free. He hopes his story can help other young entrepreneurs find their own success.
