Luton offers Andor the job to put a stick in the eye of the empire and get paid for it. He kind of gives him this ultimatum in a way. It's like, well, you could kill me and take my ship and just fly off somewhere where you can take the job which pays ridiculous amount of money. I think he said he offered like 200,000 credits or something. The job is to steal the quarterly payment for an entire sector in Imperial Space. That's a lot of money. No wonder the rebellion can fund itself.
