Christian found the Bitcoin Whitepaper in 2009, did his PhD on it between 2012 and 2016 and is working ever since on the Lightning Network as a continuation of his research.
At Blockstream he started working on Core Lightning right away, specifically working on Onion Routing together with Rusty Russell.
They talk about the Blockstream Jade open-source hardware wallet, the Blockstream Greenlight service, which Breez Wallet is integrating, about how people will get inbound liquidity in the future and about the Eltoo implementation.
