The Effects of GDPR on Privacy
In America, we don't really care that much about our personal data. I think GDPR is that sort of privacy panacea that is beginning to put the world on notice as it relates to what companies are doing with it and how they're utilizing it. It's similar to when there were a number of different healthcare regulations that came out around HIPAA back in the day. Well, Massachusetts then decided to take that a little step further. And then Massachusetts started a firestorm where many other states began to start doing similar things to hold companies accountable.
