The Point of Lent Is to Practice Being Like Jesus

Lent is to practice being like Jesus. To be a disciple, that's what it is. The point of Lent is to say, okay, I've been called into this Bette Midrash. That's what Lent is for. These six weeks are our Bette MidRash. We're going to follow him like this so that we can be like him. Because he's the prototype, he is the model, he's the rabbi and therefore we should imitate the rabbi.
