How to Deal With Interruptions

Interruptions can lead to missed opportunities, misunderstandings and misgivings. Some people aren't even aware that they're interrupting. Women are more likely to be interrupted by men than by other women. When someone more senior higher up in the hierarchy interrupts, we perceive it as a sign of strength and assertiveness. But if a more junior person interrupts, then we perceive it is confrontational and rude.
