Movie Review - Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis

Martin and lewis signed a contract to make a radio show for nbc in 19 forty eight. Their first movie would be called my friend erma based on a popular radio show about the titular young woman, a whacky blonde living with a straight laced roomate. Wallace wanted jerry to play a new part that had been written just for him, that of adonis, dean's bumbling side kick. The producer got his way by coolly suggesting to jerry that this movie was going to make dean martin a movie star whether he was in it or not.
