The Four Phases of Culture Shock

The four phases of culture shock are not always rigidly stuck to time frames. Sometimes I'm in phase two, and then at other times I go back to phase one. It kind of depends on what happens to you while you're living in another place. If you get the impression that I don't really understand something about the culture that I'm talking about, that's fine. That's absolutely normal.
