The car is surrounded by several screaming samali men wearing special protection unit uniforms. Jessica feels her mind starting to skit reality slipping from her grasp. An armed man jumps into the front seat and points a gun at the driver's head. Another man crawls into the back behind her, shorter than the rest and high as a kite on a cot. His pupils are dilated and wild. He grabs her bag and starts tossing out papers one by one, laughing deliriously.
