The Importance of Democracy in India
There's a great desire now to believe that India is a great democracy and on the side of the Western Alliance, says Tom Foreman. This suppression of what has been going on in India or at least a denial or neglect makes people who are opposed to Modi feel 'extremely hopeless,' he adds. The more Western journalists insist on enlisting India into this anti-Chinese or anti-Russia alliance, "the more they want to ignore even if they know about what's happening in India today," said Foreman.
