Podcast Taxonomy

I've been thinking a lot about this when it comes to podcast taxonomy. So what is a producer? I like, to a certain extent, that a producer does many different things. And i don't want to be too rigid with that definition because i don't wants to exclude some people from being a producer or an engineer or a show runner. The open nature of pod casting is so that we are still able to call ourselves a producer if we do x, y and z. It's ok to get keep ads and yed ters, yes, versis people. But the adoption just might not be there.
