Is Giving Better Than Receiving?

Giving is a selfish act because it makes us feel better. If we gave stuff and they just threw it back in our face, we would stop giving. We have to keep creating that good will through the year. Receiving is not just something that we do because somebody else is giving. And receiving is highly underrated. When some one doesn't take what you have to give, it becomes a small rejection. Theoretically speaking, it doesn't seem like a big deal. But if enough people decide not to receive what you're giving, there is no social contract. No reciprocity is needed. It's everyone for themselves,. A miserable mimimi world left unchecked.
