Robert Picton's Partially Confession
The jury deliberated for nine days, and on december ninth, two thousand seven, they announced they had found robert picton not guilty of first degree murder. Many members of their families in the court room proclaimed loudly and broke down in tears, feeling like they'd been robbed of justice. After the verdict, don adam, the now retired member of the r c m p, held a press conference to essentially say the verdict was a joke and full justice was not served.
