The average local authority only provides 11% of their school budgets for SCN. So it can end up being very diluted. Each child who has nominal S-works should have a nominal 6,000 pounds. This is for a child that doesn't have an EHC piece. And it's not anywhere near that. There was a question put down by Baroness Richie that disclosed the actual allocation of funding alongside how many children it was supposed to cover. But you do the maths and it's less than 4,000 pounds of child. It's falling considering the increased number of people are being diagnosed... so it's only going down unless something changes.
