The Odyssey of Disaster

Don't think he's ever had a single flight experience anywhere in the realm of that, right? Like mine is a sequence across a month. I've never had a flight. You go that point. The one good part of this trip is that there was like, you know, it's Phoenix. So there was Mexican food and we hadn't had good Mexican food in two years. And my wife got a bunch of burritos. But then you've never seen as much joy on anyone's face as Don eating a burrito after two years of no good Mexican.

might have had those in the first terminal. Right. But by the time we got to the lost bag place, they're like, nope, there's nothing we can do. We can't hold this. You can't check it today and fly tomorrow. You just have to take it with you. So massive process to get to that hotel. That sounds miserable. Where we slept, you know, seven people in the one motel room for like five hours and then did the whole process again in the morning. And of course it was raining again. Yep. Then we flew from Houston to Phoenix, my oldest. She was 12 or 13 at the time. It's Audrey. She used to work for you. She did not want to get off the plane in Phoenix because she's like, if I get off the plane, she's the one who most was most sad about leaving Europe. She wanted to be European. And so she was staying in her seat and she was really being kind of grumpy and sad. And I, you know, I'm sympathetic to that. She lived there for two years and I uprooted her and took her to a different country. And the very kindly flight attendant was like, oh, that's so sad. Would you like me to help encourage her to get off? And I said, that would be wonderful. Thank you very much. And then the sweet old lady act disappeared and she looked over at my daughter and said, hey, you don't get off right now. I'm calling an air marshal. So Audrey started crying and got off the plane. We had to, you know, walk to another terminal in Phoenix. The one good part of this trip is that there was like, you know, it's Phoenix. So there was Mexican food and we hadn't had good Mexican food in two years. And my wife got a bunch of burritos. And then you've never seen as much joy on anyone's face as Don eating a burrito after two years of no good Mexican. Then we, you know, finally got home. Anyway, that was Phoenix to Salt Lake. That was the last leg. That was our Odyssey of disaster. That

sounds real bad. I don't think I've ever had a single flight experience anywhere in the realm of that, right? Like mine is a sequence across a month. I've never had a flight. You go that point. You want you want to know the big capstone at the end of this?
