Isaiah Nine Six, Unto Us a Child Is Born, and the Government Is on His Shoulders?
Early christians thought they had to convince people that it was about jesus. The greatest lesson in this chapter is the promise of emmanuel, the assurance that god is with us. I think what matthewi is doing is actually setting up his readers to constantly look for this passage throughout his gospel. That's a wonderful application from these chapters. But i can see that some one wod be like, thanks for all this information, you guys. What do i do with it?
