Russia Threatens All of Europe, Right?
The balance of power right now is pretty heavily in Europe's favor. The Russians are losing 200,000 men; a lot of those men would be productive members of society contributing to the economy. So whatever reason there is for Europe's unwillingness to marshal an autonomous defense, I think it's impossible to make the argument that what stopping them is the lack of means.
