The Impact of VC Funding on the World
If we're allowing projects to be less reliant on traditional VC funding and it's spread more or skewed more towards receiving public funding from public goods, it kind of takes the power out of the VC fund. With a lot of VCs, what you get is exposure to a network of wealthy individuals, but not necessarily exposure to communities that are being funded as public goods. If you're receiving funding from coal from Bitcoin, you're naturally kind of inheriting support from a community because of it.
