The Trash Cover

L'Ezweiser ordered the Gs to start physical surveillance on Ames at 0600 hours that day. The night mover team had intercepted a phone call early that morning between Ames and his wife, Rosario. But the message was misinterpreted as Ames said he needed to run an errand before taking their son Paul to play school. After three days of fruitless searches they decided to use a 'trash cover' Agents would remove everything from suspect's bins then drive off with fake trash can in tow. They'd switch them back again after examining real ones for clues. It worked perfectly - when Ames returned to his car it was as if nothing had happened.
