Is There a Range of Kinds of Learning and Conditioning in the Animal Kingdom?

Duo says he underestimates the degree to which animals can e their interests changed through conditioning. We should say that just because you take the stimulus away and the behavior still continues, doesn't mean that it not pure conditioning. But we're operating at such a higher level that we can more than be trained. And i think his conception of the human as an organism interacting with its environment and then through those impulses, having experiences that lead to more experiences that eventually grow into habits is correct.
