The Evolution of Harambee's Key Goals and Objectives
Harambee has been around for nearly 10 years now. How have some of your key goals and objectives changed over the past 10 years as challenges around youth unemployment in South Africa have also evolved? Sure. So we started out by working with sort of demand supply at the heart of the issue to give a very specific example. We saw that young people were clearly capable of doing so much, but they weren't able to signal to the labor market what they were capable of. But on the flip side, we found employers struggling constantly saying they couldn't find young people for entry-level jobs.
