There is some point at which like the memory of a node is just like expensive because there's a lot of history and it's been running for a long time so this is kind of like the small block big block wars in the theory and versus Bitcoin right. So using that principle you arrive at a point where okay I can actually just store like some amount of historical state but then checkpoint that with cryptographically secured data.
