Is Hyperbole a Good Thing?

The idea that something being really good is a desirable behaviour to have in any culture. If you don't want to praise things too heavily because that might cause bad luck or something, then maybe you wouldn't see that hype of hyperbole. But you might see the same hyperbaly in the other direction where certain types of phrases become sort of stock phrases that are, quote unquote, insults but they're actually used in this sort of positive way to avert bad luck. And so it might feel like you go somewhere else and they're hyperbole. Albout everything, but it's actually fine, because what they're doing not fine. That's tus putting too much judgment on it
