A New Way of Framing the Central Role of Family in Psychic Repression

The family is the delegated agent of psychic repression, or rather the incestuous drives of the disfigured image of the repressed. Parents only intervewing here as partial objects, flows, signs and agents of a process that outflanks them on all sides. At most, the child innocently relates to his parents some part of the astonishing productivex ce he is undergoing with his desire. But this experience is not related to them as such. It's later on in the chapter that they around in the same sections that they do discuss that, something about the unconscious being passed from generation to generation.
