Megan: I think that's a really important part of working with someone with a personality disorder is recognizing that while it might look sort of irrational and you're like, what's going on for them? It feels very real. So this piece of like, how do I calm down the body enough to bring the brain online to be able to just consider what else might be possible is a super important part of helping somebody through that. You'll see what especially in what's considered cluster B. People who have been adopted, they haven't gotten her adoption early on or in a way that was left them for some period of time without kind of a secure like parent or authority attachment.
