The Ideological Stress of Ukraine

I don't think most Russians see it as an existential threat at all, but Ukrainians who obviously do. What sort of great power can't take a city that's what 40 kilometers? So there's that element, that kind of more day to day element. But also to go back to the history, I mean, the idea is that there is this historical essence of Russia. Anyone who's strengthened this historical essence is essentially a good guy.
