Can We Slow This Christmas Narrative Down?
When we lament to jesus, we're lamenting to the son of god who knows intimately our pain and our suffering. And in some ways, that's the ultimate biblical response to pain and suffering and injustice. So can we slow this christmas narrative down? i mean way down into when we read matthew one and matthew two? Because we totally miss the layers. We see the answer, we see the fulfilment, but fulfilment has a much deeper meaning if we pause to consider the condition only expressed through scripture.
