Be Aware of Asymmetries
You don't expect your language to have a single voiceless stop. If you want to decide that all voiceless stops are aspirated to the ends of words, by all means do so. But you probably don't need separate letters for those unless they really contrast. So that's what I'm talking about is weird gaps or weird single items that are surprising. And we can talk a little bit more about certain gaps that are actually quite common later.
