How to Use a Rope to Climb a Tree?

Sam wants to know how frodo is going to use this rope, because real 30 ells versus 18 fathoms is awfully tight. There's no margin for error here. Pretty soon he loses faith in that, doesn't he but then he explains how this is going to go. And basically, sam's going to repel down the cliff face, right right? You now maybe stopping on ha ledge from time to time to give phroto a little bit of a break while he's yet holding the other rope. Then phroto will follow, because there won't be anybody to hold the rope, so the more experienced person is going toGo afterwards, right? Right?
