Transfer learning is the idea that you have a model trained for one set of data, and in our case, this would be for britan. You then one apply it to a different context that is not exactly the same but similar. So what transfer learning allows you to do is take your model and re train it or twick it, if you want,. so that you can adapt it to new reality.
