Is There Diversity in Media?
Fox News was the one outlier that diversified the ideological contours of mainstream media. Roger Ailes philosophy was to just simply reject the New York Times's role in adding the agenda for that day's journalism. If a war breaks out, you got to cover it because it's a war, right? If someone's assassinated, you cover it because someone's assassinated. And I think people on the left use the word diversity actually doesn't mean diversity. It means enforced conformity.
