Welch Was a Trailblazer

The moral majority and its successors, like the Tea Party, essentially used John Birch tactics in order to get off the ground. You can see variants of these tactics in the far-right's use of social media today. The idea behind it all remains the same. And if you just repeat something loud enough and often enough, enough people will believe it is true that you can move forward with it.
