The Dichotomy of Body and Spirit

I think when people become Christian or even far along in the Christian walk, there seems like there is this dichotomy between body and spirit. And so I think that we can have a confidence as Christians that if we pursue the heights of spiritual perfection, that our humanity will be drawn into that. It's not going to leave our humanity behind for reasons that we've discussed before. But the basic idea is that, okay, what's the goal? God has made it known and has made it available that we share a life with him. That places a claim on your humanity from the top of your head to the souls of your feet.
