The Law of Moses Is a New Way of Ordering Things in the Ancient Near East
God doesn't wait until everything is pristine and perfect that you've you reached utopia. Once the Messiah comes then there's a new way of ordering things for the people of God who are not to be understood in a nationalistic or political sort of way but rather now is the inter-ethnic people of God. Israel's law understanding of you know its vision is far more humanizing far more dignifying than other ancient Near East laws.
