The Importance of Permaculture in Education
Permaculture came out of the most radical experiment, inter-shreducation in Australia's history. The environmental design school where I was as a student had no curriculum. So this was sort of like just really confusing for people because they're so embedded in what is the right content that you should teach? And it was very amusing when I went to the European permaculture convergence back in 1994 and at an intentional community that started with radical pedagogy ideas and then discovered permaculture.
