The Importance of Resonance in Writing
Li says the biggest source of inspiration for him as a writer is Chinese society overall and its culture. All writers want to stir something inside the reader by presenting something in his writings that strike a chord with them. Our shared culture and history is where we can usually draw from and achieve resonance.
