Yaya's Storyline
I remember watching Harold Pinter's Nobel Prize speech. There's nothing I don't think Yaya says about that time and about how society has changed. He really gives it to them. And in his own mighty way, he died just a few years after that. It was immensely pleasurable as an artist to go back with a voice like Yaya to look at that time. But I hope it does capture that sort of strangeness. After reading the book, I went back to listen to the narration because I love it when an author reads their own work.
