Erica, I saw something on YouTube where you were talking about the short rest periods between sets. So there was a bit of a hormonal hypothesis that if you, that it might affect testosterone, IGF one, etc. It had been theorized that these hormonal spikes were beneficial for a muscle builder and they would somewhat kickstart the hypertrophic processes. More recent research has really shown that those hormonal spikes have little bearing on the adaptations that occur, the long term adaptations.
