The Twitter blue bird logo is beloved ubiquitous and has nearly 100% unaided awareness globally. Virtually every newscaster reporter and byline features the logo exclusively giving the brand millions in free marketing. Worst of all, his comment is likely to reinforce the perception that a few remaining Twitter 1.0 team are unwanted. This will go down as one of the strangest moves in the history of brand strategy.
