Julian Simon and Paul Ehrlich on Commodities
Paul Ehrlich said in the 1970s that commodities were growing scarcer and their prices would go up. Julian Simon, a non-Austrian economist, says we can make more of anything we want as long as we dedicate more time to it. If you look at the price of gold 50 years later, then they haven't really been getting more expensive because things are still relatively scarce.
