The Handmaids Tale in Canadian

The handmaids tale is a t v adaptation of an eity's novel that was sogt about a sort of fantasy, distopian future. And by the time the first series was on air, women's rights, reproductive rights, civil liberties, are being discussed and indeed threatened in a way that many of us never imagined we would see in our lifetime. So there were these that were gigantic, relevant themes in the show, but we were trying to also be really careful not to look like we were just using the political climate to promote our stupid t v show.
