Is There a Form to Explain Things in the World?

Platonists use forms to explain things like the separated forms existing separately from things in the world. In order to explain mathemaical knowledge, how do you explain the fact that twopus two equals four is an eternal truth? Alaten philosophers will appeal to a form, a various quantitative forms, to account for that proposition. But at that seems so abstractthe non philosopher types.
