Speculative Realism - Is There an Outside?
There is a radical veiling of these real things that we are, none the less in relationship with. We don't know what it's like to be part of a vast non human ecosystem. All we can do is play with our little rational representations of these things. That tats defetus to my mind. So i'd rather bring a kind of psychidal sense of of some kind of connection between us and this other world - even if there's an enigma in it. There's not that clear knowing that you get from some kind of mystical language on all things. I'm also really influenced by a speculative realism. Even though i don't talk about it too much in the book
