We think unrealistically a lot of times about war, because we're biased toward thinking about change over continuity. War's uncertain because, as i mention arinthis this interaction with your adversaries that makes the future course of events your wore anything but linear. And then finally, wars, it is a contest of wills. It really requires you convincing your enemy that your enemy as been defeated,. So when you're saying, hey, you know, i'm just going to take the george cstanza approach to war, it oughtt leave on a high note.
